i go by vintagecowgirlone because i love the images of the old heart is a "junker" though....i was raised with antiques all around and we used them in our daily of my most cherished antiques is an old washboard that my great grandmother had written May 1919 on the back of....i am also very lucky to have my grandfathers teddy bear from when he was a child....i have always believed in taking old things and making them new again.... i'm always looking for a bargain or some free junk on the side of the road...

turquoise frame and cross

I purchased an old frame for next to nothing then wanted to give it some pop so I painted it turquoise.  I purchased a piece of plexi-glass and sprayed one side with brushed nickle spray...

junkers paradise

i bought this sign at a flea market.  it is painted on old barnwood and i added the Coke bottle caps to it.  i hung it over my garage, and my husband says it is fitting.

one man's trash...

i found these two round pots out for trash...brought them home, cleaned them up and repainted them... added the clay bunny rabbit i got at the Goodwill  (99 cents) and now i have new pots that...

Glass Yard Art

This is some of the glass yard art the my Mom and I have been working on.  The big blue one on the right side has colored glass pebbles to weigh it down and add color.

love this idea...the vanity is a great way to use the sides of an old dresser...i also had two sides without the partical back... i ended up painting mine turquoise and putting pretty porcline knobs on them...we use them as nightstands....
