Old faucet peg shelf
February 13th, 2009 in member junk
Any scrap of wood you have that would make a nice peg shelf & that is what I used. I saw these old fashioned faucet handles and thought they would make a different looking peg shelf. I love the old time door knobs as well and what better way to use them is to glue them and have the shelf as a display. A good strong epoxy glue is needed which takes awhile to dry. But in our local hardware store, I see you can buy faucet handles or look for them in flea marekts. I collect the glass & porcelain door knobs as well so they would also be good to use. This shelf can be displayed anywhere a laundry room or in my case I placed my carpet beaters and hung them for display on the faucets.
