Recycled Sweater and Coats Now live as Brooches!
February 11th, 2009 in member junk
Hi All, As you can see I have a short little span of attention so after making Penny rugs for the last week or so I switched over to these small pin/brooches. I can't seem to stop thinking up new ways to work with recycling old sweaters and coats. The fun with these little things is that I can add beads into the mix. I love picking up old necklaces at thrift shops and cutting them up to use the beads. I have a girlfriend who owns a little wool shop and takes my things on consignment, I think she is wondering these days what I will show up with next! They are displayed on a black sweater but look super on denim or on a suit jacket.
