The base is embossed The Buffalo.
The base is from a 1905 industrial meat grinder.  It was powered by a belt connected to the pulleys and an overhead power drive line.

The base is embossed "The Buffalo".

A cast iron patio table that will not blow away even in a big wind.  The top is a 3 foot square floor grate with a 2 foot diameter center piece that is removable.  The base is from an industrial meat grinder.  There are four mounting ears on the base, maybe steel casters would make for a moveable table.  With the center grate removed it would make an interesting fire pit.
