A little candle light for Christmas. This little light of mine...Im going to let it shine!
A little water softener during the holidays goes a long way!. The goodies I pulled out of my box of tricks include basic votive holders, old to me snowflake ornaments, vintage and new Chritmas balls, and vintage mirror. Stop and oick up a pack of battery operateded votive candles in white.
Fill the cup half full, add the votive candle and cover with water sostener salt. I like seein just the flame. Set your snowflake on the mirror, top with votive cup, add Christmas balls, and an extra sprinkle of salt.
If your givinging it as a hostess gift, wrap it with ribbon and add a some holiday frills.
If you are keeping it for yourself enjoy it all day. The candles I buy last for 120 hours so you dont have to keep uncovering the votive candle! Just saying...

I don't know about you, but when I dig through holiday boxes each year I find odds and ends that I have tired of. This year when you go through your boxes get creative and give those tired items a facelift! You can keep yourself or share it with someone special!

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

shabbychick writes: Love it! (And, would you please bring one to my house when you visit???) I love using bits and pieces of "all" the junk I've accumulated too!

Tis the season for gift ideas - thanks for sharing!

CottageElements writes: I'm always in need of hostess gift ideas. This is so much better than just running to the store for something. So much more meaningful. Maybe as you are cleaning out areas, making an odds and ends box just for hostess gifts would be a good idea. A little mirror is always something you can find a place for and a great addition. Thanks for the idea!

Love you,
