 And the stockings were hung...
Start with an old window.
The vinyl lettering for this project was found at Target!
The vinyl lettering for this project was found at Joanns Fabrics.
After doing the lettering I turned the window over and used a can of spray frost for the etched look. I didnt get a picture of the Believe project when it was finished. On that one I put snowflakes on the glass before etching and removed them after so you can see through some of the window.

I made this project for my Son and his Wife for Christmas because they have no fireplace to hang their stockings on. An old window, some vinyl lettering, glass etching, hooks and some chain for hanging.

bridiemurphy writes: Just found this...Super fun. I've got an old pink window (I'm afraid of the asbestos!) that I could repurpose just like this. My five year old daughter is worried about Santa coming in the house since we don't have a fireplace! No worries, a special key will work fine...and this solution for our stockings? Divine. MimiToria writes: I love the idea of this window you've made. It would look great with my vintage redesign stockings I made out of velvets, etc. I'm sure your family will love it! I'll have to make one like this for another year.
Another great idea!
