I recently decorated a wedding reception at our local Art Museum. I used vintage sheet music, burlap and lace. The bride and groom were music majors who just graduated from College so the sheet music was an appropriate theme!
I made banners out of the sheet music from a computer program on my computer and cut out then strung letters with twine.
"Let Them Eat Cake" Table!
Displayed my favorite faux aligator vintage luggage piece. Used a "cards" banner to indicate where guests will place wedding cards.
Made cones out of the vintage sheet music. Added silk blue hydrangea and computer generated label. 12 lined the center aisle of the sanctuary.
I made 40 of these to place on each table. I call them "The Book of Love." I covered each thrift store bought novel with vintage sheet music and placed a "love" label on the spine. Tied bulap and raffia and wow what a great addition to the wildflower mason jars and vases on the table!

Burlap and Lace wedding with a Vintage Music theme! I would love to do another and perfect the idea! It was so fun! It was a 106 degree in the shade sweltering day in good old Bakersfield, CA. Hope you enjoy a little sampling of the event!
