4 x 4 post ends and a bit of paint make a strong statement when they get gussied up with a copper rose.
A piece of rough plywood looks sweet cut into a heart.
An old door panel looks might fine as Old Glory.
Bits and pieces come together nicely and the wire wreath on the door says Welcome Home to all the little birdies.
A few craft hearts, a rusty iron lever part, and some tacks make this cross really cool.

Regina writes: The painting is done by my son, Matt Olson, local Fresno artist, but then he hands it over to me to distress, and stain and varnish. We think it is the distressing that really renders the aged look. Glad you like it!!! Posted: 6:44 am on June 12th
