Two benches made from two cribs.
Another view with both benches and also a storage footstool I covered with coordinating fabric.

Two benches made from two cribs.

My husband is a doll for helping me build these benches. The cribs were discarded and because of all the recalls, I wouldn't dare sell them or give them away. With a little old fashioned ingenuity, we merged them together to create a cozy settee. I also came across a vintage storage footstool, removed the upholstery and covered it in the same fabric I used for the cushions. The cushions are a plush 5-inches deep and create a cozy, comfy seating area to sit and read a book, or gaze out the window.
