Repurposed Folding Rulers

Vintage folding rulers + tattered old cabinet door = Christmas tree wall art.
Ive had this old cabinet door for ages, and the folding rulers were waiting to be repurposed too.
I left the longer pieces alone and sanded down the cut ends of the smaller pieces.
A vintage rhinestone button adds a little sparkle to the tree top.
Tiny vintage ornaments, some greenery, and a rhinestone pin hang from the original knob.

I love it when I can complete a project using only what I have in my stash of goodies.  I had several folding rulers and I was anxious to finally do something with the old cabinet door that had been hanging around too long.

Soo so loving this... still! Perfect execution, especially against that green door.
