This junk crown can be used in a number of ways.  Im just glad I could finally put that street sign to use.
This is where it all started from -- 3 old wind turbines that I bought.
After disassembling the turbines, this part just screamed Crown me!
I found these embellishments -- a curtain rod finial, some washers, and some metal knobs -- and attached with epoxy.
And -- dum dada DA!!  A crown fit for a queen! (A junk queen, anyway)

This junk "crown" can be used in a number of ways.  I'm just glad I could finally put that street sign to use.

I was quite excited to land three wind turbines.  They were larger than I expected, but pretty easy to take apart (except removing the tar -- YUCK).  Though I mostly bought them for the main spinny part, when I was done, each had 4 different components.  This part clearly was perfect for a crown -- so timely with the upcoming royal wedding!

It's basically a giant cloche and can be used to house plates for a buffet, wine and glasses at a bar, candles, plants, and any display that suits one's fancy!  Speaking of fancy, too bad there isn't a "wave" button, I'd send you off with a royal wave!

JunkArchitect writes: I would have grabbed all three too! Maybe the royal couple will go the junk route when furnishing their corner of the palace.
