The star wreath was made from our willow tree branches in the front yard. I used all my ribbon scraps and knotted them on to make a crazy any occasion wreath.
I was given a plastic bag full of old vintage travel pennants of all sizes, and colors. They were far too wonderful to throw away, so I tried to come up with a way to display them without damaging them. I decided to applique them to fabric and make a quilted wall hanging.
Here a couple of the small ones...
And a couple of the really big ones!
This throw is made from recycled wool sweaters and is SO wonderfully warm!

Left over pieces of ribbon, vintage travel pennants, and old wool sweaters - All too good to throw away! Here are some ideas for reinventing them.
