Ok...I have had this ugly old brass (look) vanity light that I took out of my bathroom a few years back.  I never knew what to do with it, until now!

After dismantling it, and removing the light hardware, I hot glued it all back together.  After a few coats of flat black paint, I dropped in some tea-lights.  But it looked a little boring, so I used some UGlu (LOVE UGlu) and attached some greenery and extra ornaments!

It turned out pretty cute...but my hubby is paranoid I am going to burn the house down, so I am off to buy battery operated lights to replace the candles.

I have wanted to change it for years, but the guy who built my house did things his way and he fixed it in a way that no other fixture would fit. Good to know these can be painted. Course would have to take care with the lighting part, but I'm bringing out the spray cans. Love your reuse!!! Posted: 7:35 pm on December 19th
