This is the desk when the gals parents brought it to me. Lots of curves and details to be sanded around.
Here I have sanded it completely. That alone took about 3 hours.
Primer applied and ready for paint color.
The finished product after two coats of paint. I love it even with the original hardware!

A gal came to my sale and asked if I would redo a desk she had bought. She saw a child's bench that I made from a twin sized headboard that was painted a bright turquoise color. That was the color she wanted. This was alot of hard work but I think it turned out great!

jillwilhelm writes: Hi, I love your stuff! I have this exact desk that I am going to redo. I wondered if you sanded the top before you painted it, or just the desk. If you didn't sand the top did you do anything to prepare it first? Thanks!
