The back of a metal lawn chair.

A bench leg. My favorite. I want to print this out huge and put it in my house!
Look what I found attached to a leg, a cocoon!
A chippy crib I picked at Roundtop. It has become a flower bed.

I was going to post pictures of my great finds (a crib, 2 metal chairs and a metal glider) from our trip to Roundtop, TX, but got sidetracked by all the beautiful rust, and thought I would share those instead. I don't think any of us would be here if we didn't see the beauty in the details! Enjoy!

CleverJunk writes: I love rust, too...and anything with crusty paint and rust. Great pictures! I love rust in it's found state but I also love to wax and polish it with paste wax. It does change the color a bit but it takes it from shabby to chic and won't rub off on carpet, etc. when you want to bring it indoors.

Your photos would make great cards in addition to wall art. Great finds! Posted: 1:58 pm on May 9th

MakinItHappen ~ OMG, you are soooo right about pic #2 ~ I can see it also, now that you mention it. I would so love to have this one in a frame and blown up to a 12X14....instant art and what a conversation piece!

Great work, Lindsey!
