The legs came from bunk bed posts, used CDs cut up and glued, old discarded guitar, scrap lumber from a construction project. old radio knob to replace one that was missing

This was a Father and Daughter project.  Amanda had moved and wanted a coffee table.  We shared ideas until we came up with this idea.  We inlayed the guitar into 2X6's and did mosaic with the CD chips.  We had alot of fun and the memories will be cheerished. She has been converted to a junker too!

Some of the old guitars are actually worth a LOT of money!, even in bad shape! Ditto the electronics they contain. When people are restoring vintage guitars, some of the hardware and electronics sell for hundreds of dollars, some of the guitars for thousands. Same goes for all old instruments.
