I bought this commercial laundry hamper at a yard sale last summer for only $10.00.

I just love it but need some ideas for what to do with it?  My laundry room is too small so it's in my kitchen for now.

JunknStuff writes: This is SO great! Put it on your porch, with flowers in the summer, pumpkins in the fall, & a smaller Christmas tree in the winter! Maybe make a fabric liner for it...or run ribbon through the mesh of the basket, all the way 'round! Cute! This brings back so many memories! My mom was a single mom, & so we spent a fair amount of time going with her to the laundry mat as kiddos. (Couldn't afford new washer/dryer when they broke.) We would entertain ourselves by taking turns pushing one another around in these baskets! Uber-fun! Wish I had one now to "go for a spin in!" Heehee! Posted: 5:15 pm on July 25th

CleverJunk writes: What a fabulous find! It would be great in a bathroom filled with towels, if you have kids it could be tub toys, or in a playroom full of toys. In the kitchen it would be great for holding potatoes and onions or recycled newspapers and magazines. It would be a neat night stand if you put a table top on it. I'd probably have it in my workroom full of fabrics. Enjoy it, it's great just like it is. Posted: 2:36 pm on April 20th
