A Fun Broken Chair Project...

It had a decorative chippy back
vintage typewriter part and hardware- I decided to use a different hook when I assembled it
the assembled parts
it made a fun little shelf, too

This is a fun rack made from an old broken chair and some miscellaneous junk hardware!  The chair was missing a seat and had a broken leg, but had such a decorative back design that I wanted to use it in another project.  We removed the seat and back legs and I found an old typewriter piece that fit perfectly onto the chair edge to cover where the seat had been attached.  I then added 2 great old black chippy metal doorstops with rubber tips, through existing holes in the typewriter piece, and added an old coat hook to the underside.  It formed a small shelf, as well!
