I love this guestbook.  I found it at Goodwill.  Score!  It is made of wood and the pages are old and perfect.  I love the little light too.
I believe this is an old stamp holder.  But it makes for a great ornament holder.  Someone posted something similar but I think they said it was an old spice rack.  All I know it had holes which were perfect for holding my vintage ornaments.
I love these lanterns.  I always have them on display, but I just added some festive greenery.  Easy peasy.  The oil lamp was my Grams so of course it is very special.
I set it all up on my old secretary desk. I had searched for one because my Grandmother had one growing up.  My mom has it so I wanted something similar.  Good memories! The mirror above it perfectly reflects the lights from the Christmas tree.

It is getting to look a lot like Christmas around here.  Key word is "getting".  I am one of those crazy holiday people who decorate right up until Christmas Eve.  Here is one of my favorite vignettes.  You can read more about some of my posts on my blog too.

I hope your holidays are merry and bright!

Happy Decorating Days,

RustyDiva writes: I'm glad I'm not the only one still decorating right up until Christmas! I got a late start this year and pulled out 12 tubs of stuff over the week-end. I have a funny tradition of leaving mine up until February so I can enjoy all the softness of it after the rush rush slows down. I love the glow!!!! Very nice vignettes ~ thanks for sharing them and the guest book is awesome!!! Any celebrities signatures?

georgiamoon writes: Hey Mary Beth. I love what you have is very beautiful. I think that the ornament holder used to hold cruet bottles...salt, pepper or vinegar and oil. It sure does make for an awesome ornament holder too! Very nice vignette and great stuff, Georgia Posted: 2:39 pm on December 13th
