A closer look...water, hands...cant get much clearer than that!
Mixed with a couple of other bathroom treasures...cant miss any prime decorating space :)
Eye level for my little guy...T.M.I.???  Sorry...

A closer look...water, hands...can't get much clearer than that!

I have a "thing" for old scales...I especially love this one with it's black and white color scheme.  It's been floating around for a while without being particularily useful...who wants to step on a scale this time of year???  Not me!  So when I realized the metal made it magnetic, I came upon this idea...with a couple of little button magnets and some vintage flash cards...it now serves a very important duty as a "friendly" little stool-side reminder for my 5-year old little boy.  Enough said???  :)

I don't blame you for not wanting to step on it -- look at the number it's already up to! OUCH! Yours is a much better use for it.

RustyDiva writes: I don't own a scale and have never seen much use for them except to cause depression, panic attacks, anxiety, eating disorders etc, etc etc. (I think a doctor told me that or maybe I just made it up :=) any hoo I just might buy one after this idea! It would make great wall art for a bathroom too if you just mounted the face of it. Great idea Laurel! Nice bathroom too ~ I like the candle holder on the mirror.

How funny the scale is magnetic. Whoda thought that would be necessary? But in your case, it was!!!

LOVE the little extras around the scale. It adds to the charm of your scale. gailmarie Posted: 9:15 am on December 4th
