A "washed up" mop bucket? Nope!

A farmer gave me this neat old mop bucket on wheels this summer.  Ive seen them a million times and thought they were neat...but, what to do with it now that I had one?
Wanting to keep it a neutral color palette, I painted a stripe in black, and added some embellishments.  So easy to spiff up.

No longer used for cleaning, it's now a stylish container for my scrapbooks or magazines, OR toiletries in the bath OR beverage/ice holder for patio parties, etc., etc.  You get the picture!

itsnotjunk2me writes: junkgirl, this is such a unique repurpose! Love the black stripe that you painted and the embellishments on the side. I absolutely love anything with casters (AND galvanized metal)- not sure what it is about them, maybe just the nostalgia of it all.

I also checked out your blogspot-love it (the bathroom remodel is fabulous)! ~judi ;) Posted: 8:57 am on November 10th
