The Five Feet Table

I found a bunch of steel shoe sole cutters and put five of them to use in this table project.
Before Chris the Welder welded it all together, he ground the bottom side of the cutters down so they weren’t so sharp.
The cutters fit perfectly - no other modifications were needed.
We added a piece of ¼” glass and now have a neat table - and quite a conversation piece!

Can you figure out why I am calling this the “Five Feet” table?  And for those who asked, here's the headlight lamp from a previous post.

writes: You guys! Thanks for the kudos - it was a fun one :-). Midge, the cutters fit perfectly - we just ground them down so they weren't sharp. And the headlamp was from a previous post.

Thanks again!

Perfect marriage of pieces, love the humor of it. Did the feet really fit that perfectly, or did welder guy have to do something to tweak it a bit? Just curious.
