This is a photo I took and turned into the postcard announcing the sale.
The mantle was a piece of work...It was dark brown ENAMEL!!
Globes just never get old!!
My new residence. The white house. Dont you remember electing me?
Cabinet, lamp, mirrors, and more!

This is a really exciting time for me as I have changed the format of the shop from being open on a  daily basis to having an Monthly Occasional Sale, where I will be featuring new and interesting finds each month. I will be working with my dear friend Jenny K. and Melissa where they will showcase all the fabulous art and junk that they have created and found. Here is a sneak preview of what I have going on. Jenny will be posting her own photos as soon as we have time to come up for air.

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

We have 17 vendors at Geyserville Vintage in the heart of Alexander Valley ... It's not about money ... it's about embellishments, upscaled creations and a sense of design... These women and men are awesome... Posted: 11:14 am on January 28th

bensonstreet writes: I love the idea of an Occasional Shop! I have long wanted to venture into this realm of business, but I am just not brave enough to forfeit the bi-weekly paycheck. At the same time I yearn for my very own creative outlet.. so tell me everyone - what do you think of the idea of an Occasional Shop? And Georgia Moon - how is it working for you? AtticusFinch writes: Oh Georgia, that photograph is awesome! You should have it enlarged and printed on canvas. Or print black and white and water color the door in pink or turquoise. Or print sepia toned.

But just awesome enlarged and framed just as it is. Signed and Numbered.

Would have loved to be at the sale too.

MimiToria writes: Georgia I'm getting here late, but wanted to congratulate you on a fabulous looking shop. I just love what you've done, how you've vignetted it and the items you had for sale. I just love the occasional sale venue, and feel so blessed to be a part of a successful one here in Minnesota. It creates such a frenzy and is so much fun. Its a hard 4 days, but always well worth the blood, sweat and tears. Good luck with your future sales as you go forth. I think you'll find it a refreshing venue, but will also find the 4 weeks in between fly by as well. Fun! Fun! Fun!

shabbychick writes: Geo - so glad your sale went well...(you all have worked so hard) - Congrats!!!

You're definitely missed - but you've had big stuff going on. After looking at all of your pictures - you had LOTS of wonderful things (and displayed so beautifully).

The wrought iron fence is awesome - and would make a wonderful postcard!

Take care,

Smickerdoodle writes: I love the look of your shop. And I also love the idea of occasional sales. You are living my dream as well. In fact I have been in the process of redoing my studio here at home so that I can also start having occasional sales. I read about them a short while ago and had decided to try it. Reading your post has given me the courage to push forward with the idea. Thank you for sharing your success with us. It has been very inspiring.

georgiamoon writes: Thank you all for your wonderful comments and I wish you had all been there on the first day of the sale. Things went better than I could have even expected and I had so much FUN! If any of you have noticed I have not been as present as usual on the site, this is the reason, and I have to say I am MISSING you all! We have literally had blood, sweat and tears flowing throughout the process of switching over to this format but it was worth it. Thank you ALL again for being the wonderful and supportive friends that I love and appreciate so much, Georgia Posted: 10:27 am on July 12th

WOW! Georgia the store looks SPECTACULAR! Each photo is filled with the coolest antiques and vintage stuff and lots of it. You’re really talented when it comes to merchandising. One of these days I’ll make it to that part of California so I can check things out in person. Your postcard came out great too. I hope you have nothing left at the end of the day.
