I used a rub-on on the glass of this frame, and added some pieces from a broken earring I took apart.
A little crystal hangs from the bottom and a ribbon and earring decorate the top.
Print whatever you want on some pretty scrapbooking paper and frame it for those frames missing the glass.
I know, I know, I ALWAYS EMBELLISH!!!--dont I!?!

You all know how easy it is to find old brass frames at the thrift store.  Well, why buy new ones when all it takes is a little spray paint and embellishing to liven them up and create one-of-a-kind decor for baby's room.

DownHomeDIY writes: I adore these! And I love how you embellish stuff...you are the queen of embellishing. In fact, when I finish a piece I often say, "now what would Janis do to make it complete?" You would have been proud on some candlesticks I just made. Thanks for the inspiration.

RustyDiva writes: These are gorgeous Janis and a little embellishing never hurt anybody!!! I have such an aversion to brass that I have a hard time looking beyond it. Your projects have helped me try to see the shape and form instead of the substance it's made out of. You get the old brain juices to flowing in a different direction and thank you for that!

I love these and my fave is the last picture. Precious precious precious! Great job my friend.
