Old window decoration

This is just an old window frame I got for free and just some quilt scraps to place behind the glass. I saw this idea in an antique shop for $65.00 and realized I could do this at home for free!

How to Make a Quiche Pan Frame

Since my daughter has become a vegan, I have little to no use for my quiche pan. So, I thought it would be funny to frame a picture of her in it to remind her of the days when she actually ate eggs. Ha! I'm not quite sure if she appreciates my sense of humor quite as much as I do. Seriously though, when you find something lying about that you don't use any more, why not put it back into play? That's exactly what we decided to do. E is on her second week of winter break and we were looking for something fun to do. After identifying the body of the frame we gathered the rest of our materials from the box of leftover Christmas trinkets, treasures, and papers, and went straight to work. The finished project will hang on a wall in my bedroom so I can see that smiling cherubic face, of a once upon a time preschooler, every morning when I wake up. Ahhh... those were the days! What she doesn't know is that this is the first of many photos to be framed JUNKMARKET Style to adorn her 'Wall of Fame' when she graduates from high school next year. Not all of them will be this adorable... I'll also need to address that awkward stage. Poor E!
