Im the oldest of 4 sisters in Minnesota, we all like second hand treasures, some like stuff more primitive than others. We try to get together around our birthdays 4 x yearly to do something and often its fleamarkets etc. We've probably been "junkgirls" for a long time!! I'm a working nurse, mom, grandmother of 5+, etc so not lots of spare time (like you all, right?) Love to see your creations! I live real rural so can't get to all your super junkmarkets, etc but we have some good stuff out here too.

Really a beautiful piece and the unusual grooves of the frame add to the finished look with the leather. Stunning!!

HI new to this, just looked at your junkmarket site because of one of my sisters Mimitoria from Mn. Anyway, your friendly pumpkin face Bart is a wooden bog shoe used on horses to keep them from sinking in the mire... anyway he makes an adorable face. The "eyes" are actually where the ends of the horsehoes fit and the knob on top of horseshoe forms his mouth. Clever idea.
