Not too bad for under $2.00 ...

You all know how hard it is to pass up free and cheap!  The only real story here is that shortly after buying the lampshade, my little grandson wanted to "help" carry it -- and , naturally...

Easy Garden Projects!

The highchair was a curbside find -- hubby just knew it would end up in a garden!  Obviously the flowers had just been planted in the pic, but they're beginning to fill out now.  I've seen...

BBQ Bottle Bug/Bee

My hubby is beginning to think I'll never throw anything away! ( He admitted this turned out better than he would have imagined, though)  I painted the bottle to imitate mercury glass doesnt...

Tick, tock ... I've got clocks!

My husband just shook his head when I bought an entire box of clocks with no real projects in mind.  For $3, can you blame me?  My daughter said she thinks I shoud just display them on the...

Primitive Flag

I've had this idea for a flag for several years, but needed to find the perfect piece of wood.  A couple of months ago, my husband took apart an old shelf, and tossed the wood into the...

It's old, it's grungy.....it's wonderful!

I found this at a garage sale today -- for $5!  The woman having the sale teared up as she took my money as it had belonged to her father, but said she felt better knowing it was going home with...

Re: Bottle Crate Plant Stand

This is really cute! It's one of those ideas I may just have to copy one of these days -- if I can accumulate all of the right parts!

Re: Tick, tock ... I've got clocks!

Kathy, the clocks may have had cousins in Springfield, but I found these right here in Indianapolis.

Re: Tick, tock ... I've got clocks!

Jim -- don't you DARE tell my husband I could sell the clocks for that much! ;) You can't really see it in the pics, but there's a box of clock gears below the stool, too, so even more project possibilities. I picked up the stool a few years back for a whole $1, and hubby didn't see the "beauty" in it. It's really sturdy, though, so he keeps "borrowing" it!

Re: I've been pickin'

Wow... I'm jealous! I just can't believe it took you so long to go searching. ;) Looks like you have a lot of fun ahead of you!

Re: I'm such a dummy. . .

Could this be flipped over so the "window" section is on top? You could add a mirror or artwork, and then you'd have the shelf below for goodies.

Re: Towel rods from antique gas lines

Great idea! I'd love to have something like this in my house -- guess I need to start bugging hubby to look for something to work with!

Re: The ATV from hell

OOPS!!!! My computer kept telling me there was a problem, so I kept trying (if at first you don't succeed........) But, I do love this! ;)

Re: The ATV from hell

I love this! I noticed the Harmony, MN note -- I grew up not far from there, and love to hunt for treasures when I visit relatives. I'd love to see some of the other pieces you have!

Re: The ATV from hell

I love this! I noticed the Harmony, MN note -- I grew up not far from there, so might just have to get a relative to do some exploring for me. I don't get up that way too often, but love to go hunting for treasures in that area. I'd love to see some of the other pieces you have!
