I was born to create! It is my biggest passion. As a catalog stylist, my job allows me to design and make props and backdrops - which I love to do. In my free time I paint and sew. I do this so much that I had to start a new business . . .
quietlife design studio.
My cute husband built me my own studio and I spend all my free time in there - along with my cats, lily and jack. I create a lot of childrens art and hope to write/illustrate my own childrens book some day. In the past few years I started making appliqued tees and pillows - very cute!
But - I needed more. . . so, last month I decided to start a junk division of quietlife design studio. I plan on having a sale this fall. My husband is a minimalist, so I cant keep all of the things I create. Which is fine by me, I like to pass along the love and I hope to make others smile with my creations.
Ive lived in Santa Barbara for 13 years - but I grew up in the Chicago area. I miss the midwest, and especially the city. . . but I married a surfer, so whats a girl to do? Guess Ill just keep creating!
God bless!

Thanks! I'm kind of a "reverse junker" . . . I like to take new stuff that is nondistinctive, or would be thrown away, and give it character and history.

Have a great day!
