Ive had a passion for all things vintage and unique for as long as I can remember. About sixteen years ago I started repurposing the old treasures I brought home and began selling them at local antique markets.
I love flea market adventures, yard sales, estate sales, antique shows, and just about any place I can discover something old, unique, and wonderful.

Jewelry Display from a Salvaged Lamp

I've been looking for something different to use for displaying my jewelry.

A New Life for an Old Thermos and Jar

This heavy duty old Stanley thermos has seen better days, but it still had plenty of life left in it.

Faux Chalkboard Stenciled Cases

I love chalkboards and all the beautiful lettering I've been seeing, but my lettering always comes out looking like it was done by a three year old.  Why not fake it with a stencil and just...

Pumpkins with Attitude

I made these pumpkin gals from bits and pieces of old jewelry, hardware, lace, typewriter keys, buttons, and watch parts.

Repurposed Victorian Ridge Caps

When I spotted these Victorian ridge caps stacked inside a vintage cooler at a salvage yard, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them.

Antique Brush Transformation

A pretty hanging picture frame created with an antique hair brush.

Hardware, Rust, and Rhinestones

While sorting through one of my boxes of hardware, wood pieces, lamp parts, and miscellaneous rusty treasures, I found the perfect pieces to hold my business cards.

Repurposed Folding Rulers

I love it when I can complete a project using only what I have in my stash of goodies.

A Hot Transformation

Two salvaged parts that were meant to be together.

Hotel Key Fob Necklaces

What do you do with a pile of old hotel room key fobs?

Jewelry from an old Brownie Camera

I'm sure they thought I was crazy for buying this old sticky camera, but I had other plans for it.

Upcycled Old Sewing Machine

I knew this rusty, dusty, spider web infested antique White Rotary sewing machine still had some life left in it.

Re: I Need Your Feedback

Lots to think about. I know this type of wedding wouldn't be for everyone because some people just don't "get it." Personally, I would love it.
Of course the bride's vision would have to come first, along with a little junkin' persuasion from me. If the bride only wanted a few elements here and there, I think the reception would be the ideal place, especially if it was an outdoor event. I can see flowers, candles, and food arranged in unusual containers, burlap table covers instead of the usual colors, etc.
Handmade is always so special. Favors made with old trinkets would be perfect. Maybe, hand stamped silverware for place settings.
Love your pin!
