Boot Scootin' Planters

I recently cleaned out my mudroom and found two of my son's boots--different boots, different sizes, go figure. He now wears size 15 boots, so he doesn't need these anyway! I added gravel, a plastic...

What a great use for an old grindstone--it 'rocks!' Anita

Re: Candle stick flowers

Such pretty 'everlastings.' Love the old bottle stopper topper!

Re: The Garden Room - (Part 2)...details, details, details...

So charming--what a great place to read a book, or just enjoy a lazy afternoon. You and Terri did an amazing job. Anita

Re: We interrupt winter for...Ellen's Garden Room (Part 1)

This is so beautiful. I see your friend, Ellen, likes vintage pottery, too. Now I'm off to see 'part II'...

Re: You Can't Take the Fancy Out of Fancy...

This is so pretty! I'm amazed at the creativity I've seen on JMS. Thank you for the welcome--I feel like a long-lost child who just found her real family--every one looks like me!

Very pretty--I love vintage mirrors, too. Anita

Re: ROCK-A-BYE BABY!!

Great idea for a cute plant stand that has many memories attached! I have grown daughters, and a couple of these just gathering dust. Thank you for the kind welcome. Anita

Re: Boot Scootin' Planters

Thank you all. I'm looking forward to viewing everyone's projects. Anita

Zelma, didn't I tell you Junkanita IS my real name?!

Re: Night-night Sugar...

Very creative...looks great, either day or night. Thanks for your welcoming visit. I took a quick tour of your posts--we have so many similar things--crocheted rugs, crazy quilts, as well as boot planters! Anita

Re: Sometimes it's ok to break a dish (or two)...

Your mosaics are beautiful, especially the bowling balls. Since most thrift store bowling balls are dark colors, this is a great way to give them a pretty 'face lift!' I've been stockpiling broken ceramics for years...one of these days...

Re: Springfield Extravaganza - Part II - so much to see and so little time!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've been to the Springfield Flea Market several times (used to live in Clark Co. many years ago), it's a favorite with my mother and sister. Next time I'll stop in and say 'Hi.'

Re: Screened Porch ..#2 & #3

I love this porch! Your colors are beautiful, and you are so lucky to have it screened. My grandmother had a glider like this years ago. Thanks for the welcome, and for the memory.

Re: Junk Chime

Thank you for the warm welcome. Not only do I love old pottery, I love old iron wheels, and iron implements of any kind. This is such a great idea--you must have an 'eagle eye' for junk.

Re: Boot Scootin' Planters

Thank you all for the kind and welcoming words. I do love the vintage pottery (or anything vintage), and keep an eye out for certain colors. My limit is usually $2.00...the green vase just 'spoke to me.' Anita

Re: Boot Scootin' Bags

This is adorable. I just uploaded 'Boot Scootin' Planters', and didn't think to check for other 'Boot Scootin' items first. Coincidentally, I noticed that we have the same avatar, and very similar usernames. If this causes any problem, please let me know, and I will delete.
