These rag rugs are great to use up old pants. If you make the strips from the legs of polyester pants the rug can dry quickly and won't be so heavy in your washer.

Also it is easier for a beginner to make a square or rectangle shape. (a round one requires adding stitches in just the right places).

This is really cute. It gave me an idea for an old mailbox I have. It could be an adorable "trailer" too.

I have a basket just like this. I used window screen wire instead of the cocoa mat. It works just fine.

My basket was orginally used for dirty shop towels in a service station.
