Before and After: Shangri-la Dresser
We found this beat-up wood veneer dresser at a Habitat Restore. We decided to go with a clean white paint on this piece and I love the way it turned out. I also think it would look great in a funky...
Old Frames and Old Photos
We recently came across a bunch of old frames that needed to be saved. We took them home, cleaned them up, and painted them all white. Then, we attached string horizontally across the backs of the...
Before and After: Old Chandelier Turned into Desk Lamp
I was looking for a small lamp for my desk and stumbled across this broken chandelier at an antique faire. It needed new wiring, a light bulb... and something else. That something else turned out to...
Before and After: Vanity
My husband and I picked up this vanity at a salvage yard here in Florida. It was falling apart and covered in scratches and dents. We painted it a light distressed blue and used a painting technique...

Thanks, junqueartiste! First we cleaned the surface with a damp rag. We also had to use wood glue and a clamp to get the strip of detail back on. Once that was done we coated the dresser in primer and then painted it Pale Bloom (Valspar). If I remember correctly it was an eggshell finish. We spray painted the handles, too.
