As a sewing machine collector I can tell you I believe this is a Singer model 28-1. The decal design goes by two names. Tiffany and Gingerbread. A good soaking with Liquid Wrench until the parts are loosend up then soaking with sewing machine oil and this would be a great working machine. Be carefull using anything strong to clean it so not to ruin the decals. Maybe just wipe it with sewing machine oil and and it will be nice. Just nothing with alcohol or abrasives.
Its a very nice find. Please don't turn it into a lamp or such.

Ok, someone has to post a negative. This machine actually never did come with a motor and its worth much more historically in its original condition. As a sewing machine collector I don't see a lot of Minnesota A machines with beautifull decals. I hope this doesn't catch on and a really rare machine gets turned into a lamp.
