Ever since I was a little girl making things for my Barbies, Ive loved the idea of repurposing items. We didnt know what we were doing back then, but oh, the fun we had! We would use boxes, wooden thread spools, bottle caps and game pieces to create the perfect room for our Barbie dolls. I havent done anything like this in my adult life, but Ive been inspired. Now, I want to re-live the fun and excitement I had as a child by decorating my house with junk.

My junk collection that has been growing since I found this site a year ago. Since this swap requires me to make something with the junk I receive, it's just the incentive I need to get me creating. I'm excited and up for the challenge. Count me in! Linda

Does the duct tape serve a purpose or is it just used to decorate the bottle? I just recently heard of upside-down gardening and thought I might give it a try this year. I still have 2 of those old clothes line T-poles on the property. Thought I would hang a few from there. Thanks for sharing.

Hi! I'm a newbie, but I'm sold. I bought the magazine yesterday at the grocery store on a whim. Thought it would be just another decorating magazine, but WOW! How could I not know about something so exciting? Now I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get a second look at all the junk that's layin around the farm we bought. I'm sure it will have a brand new meaning for me. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas.
