Very Nice! I have two projects similar to this that I completed and sold. One was a vanity that I decoupaged victorian ads on the drawer fronts and the side and the other was a shabby 3 drawer dresser that I decoupaged an old National geographic map of the caribbean island area.

I have a table just like this one in my home. We picked it up at the longest yard sale about 3 years ago for $2. My husband sanded it, we stained it and it turned out beautiful. I love the table, it's sturdy and I don't have to worry about if it ever gets another ding or dent because that will just add to the character. There was a time in the past, maybe the 70's where making tables out of 2x6 wood was popular.

If you ever decide that you don't want it, there are people who do blacksmithing and they would appreciate one of these. My uncle had one and they are very heavy and I sold it to a gentleman who was very happy to have it. Nice find!

Nice Finds! I have a couple of metal file cabinets just like the one in your picture in my stash and am looking for more so that I can stack them all together and put some industrial wheels on the bottom for a great industrial storage unit. I once had a army foot locker that was painted bright green and it sat in my booth for awhile, so I took it home painted it antique bronze added some wheels and away it went. That trunk is wonderful and already has a great color scheme.
