Re: VIsual Desktop Diary: Entry #3

Boy those garters also brought back memories for me. I remember my gramma bought us 50 pair of nylons in cinnimon, they had the seam down the back, but were only 25 cents a pair.Wonderful post ..

Re: Upcycled Glass Collage

Gorgeous! I need to take one of my old windows, and make one, to put on my stair way window.. Great idea, Daughter lives a block from lake Erie in Ohio. I will spend some time with the grandkids at the beach getting lots of sea glass.

Re: Beat up coffee table turns shabby romantic

Just amazing what you can do with white paint, and a good eye. I think anything that has carving or layers in wood looks so cool antiqued.. Great job!!!

Re: Footstool

love love love it.

Re: Michigan Yard Sale Trail

Yes, you did score some good junk, wow.. I live in Indiana near the state line, and last year we went to the us 12 garage sale, they say it goes all the way up to Detroit. We have lived in Goshen for 20 years, and that was our first time going to it.. amazing finds. We went the last day in the afternoon, wish We had known about it earlier.. what fun!

Re: New Whimsy for a Retro Groovy Metal Chair

We bought a newer version of those chairs, And I tell ya my grand kids fight over who gets to sit in it.. Love the colors!!

Re: Greenhouses from old wood windows and industrial scrap material.

My husband and I were just talking about doing this, A lady down the road made one out of windows, but made it more the size of a telephone booth. I am very lucky, My husband sells to contractors, and when they are taking old windows out, they call Dick. Our old barn is full of them..The company I worked for closed down, So I guess I should be getting those windows out and doing something with them. Thanks for the insperation. Now if someone has a way of inspiring me to clean out my fridge, let me know.

Re: Need ideas for this wood column I found in trash?

My Idea would be attach it to the wall somehow, and get a vintage arm, and hang a plant there. Also, you could use it to put a bird house on.
