Really awesome idea - I love it, Candy! If someone wasn't so lucky to have found the "wood things" from your parent's house, you could also stretch these on stretcher bars that artists use to stretch canvas. Michael's and Hobby Lobby usually have these. Occasionally both places have their fully finished canvases 40-50% off, which would make that an even cheaper option. Also pretty lightweight.

I would LOVE to make some pillows out of these for my couch. Espcecially some with lots of red.

WAY cool! I like the rusty skate one best too. What did you use for the wings? Do you sell these somewhere?

Cool stuff - I especially like the wire basket. That might look cool wired as a hanging light fixture. Have fun! ~Clair
