This is the perfect place for me, because I love junk! My favorite places to shop are thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, anywhere that my next treasure might be waiting to be discovered. I have been known to slam on the brakes or execute a rapid u-turn upon seeing treasure along the roadside. About a year ago, I fell in love with old cups and saucers, candle sticks, vases, that sort of thing This led to acquiring a small collection that I began playing around with, which led to the creation of what I call whimsies. Now it is my obsession and I am always on the hunt for more. Although I have been bitten by the whimsy bug, I still love other wonderful old things, like doors and drawers, knobs, the list in lengthy! It is my dream to have a little shop filled with fabulous things that have been reborn.

Re: Vintage Door Corner Shelf

You did an amazing job, it is gorgeous! I just bought an old door yesterday to do the same thing and I can only hope it turns out half as beautiful as yours. Thanks for sharing.
