Vintage pearls, pinafores, and letters come together in one beautiful look.
Gatherings is the perfect name for this shop. When you come in the front door you'll want to stay awhile. It's a fabulous place to gather with your gal pals.
The floor was packed with the good stuff from floor to ceiling and all available space in between.
The dispays are fresh and eclectic.
I think this is a beautiful look. I can't wait to incorporate the coverless book look into my interior decor.
Many beautiful crystal pieces lit up the shop!
and lace could be found in every nook and cranny.
Ahh, the almost naked lampshade. Always on my list of favorites!
Buttons, buttons, and more buttons. I love their application of these bountiful beauties to hangers. Adorable and sweet!
More books, this time they have their covers! I was delighted by the combination of time worn books with the more industrial looking flower frogs.
And then, when you least expect it out of the store's soft white interior comes a vintage dress that says hello I'm pink! Yes, they carry some vintage clothing and attired my daughter for the Junk Gypsy Prom while I was signing books. Doesn't she look smashing?

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of Gatherings and to do a book signing at their lovely shop. Stephanie and Cathy are as delightful as they are talented. We had a great turn out for the signing and a good time was had by all. I loved their knack for display as well as their eye for all that is feminine, soft, and elegant. Take a peek at the pictures and you'll see what I mean! Thanks ladies. I had a wonderful time!

Oh My, what a BUFFET of glorious stuff! I like the feminine softness paired with the look of my favorite finish, RUST! I hadn't seen the books with covers removed and tied with ribbon before. Nifty! We're doing the naked lampshades here in Kansas City. What a neat look. "Gatherings" looks like a wonderful shop. Thank you for the pictures! Posted: 9:07 am on April 15th
Thanks for the tour.

Sure is fun to read and see pictures about your adventure in Texas. This looks like it would have been one of my favorite places to shop. I am very curious as to what the framed initial is on the hanger in the first picture.....is it a necklace or a wall hanging??
