Disgarded Fireplace Stand turned Necklace holder!
March 29th, 2009 in member junkAnother great find at the Seattle Goodwill Outlet! When I discovered this Fireplace Tool Stand it was dirty and covered in soot. I had my hubby take it to work and have it sand blasted. (Yes, a benefit of being married to a welder, I realize!) I then painted the stand a Watermelon Pink, so I could use it to display the jewerly that we craft out of antique & vintage silverware. You could very well find a Fireplace Tool Stand this is not so dirty and use in it a rusted condition, I think that would look great too. I plan to display mine on a shabby chic white dresser at my next sale, I think it will really stand out!
