This is the newest collage that I made

I made this collage on a small canvas and it may be hard to see all the details but I like the soft colors. I took an old funky  (not cool at all) frame and decopaged floral napkins on it . My final touch was to cover it all with a light varnish to give it an aged look.

georgiamoon writes: Jedi...I am sorry but this one doesn't really have a story...I know...most of my life IS a story but this time it is just that I use what I find. I guess I could make something up about being raised by bee's out in the wild, which would explain my affinity for honey, or maybe I just think I am the "Queen Bee" around here! Whatever...I could go on but I will spare you...this time.
As for whether I used napkins...yes I did for part of the actual collage, also I had an old postcard , the bee, some paper flowers, joint compound used for texture, plus lots of flowers cut out of other pieces...oh yea, some rub on transfers went on there too. So like I said I just use what I find and what I like. Thank you all for the nice words and Rachel I can't wait to see the ones you have done. Talk soon, Georgia Posted: 3:43 pm on August 28th

Any reason you chose "The Bee?" What's the story? There's gotta "bee" a story. Posted: 9:03 am on August 28th
crazymomluvsjunk writes: Hey Georgia...I make things like that too. I did some my friend who has a little girl named Ella and she needed some decor when they bought their first home. I didn't take pics of them...but my friend Wendy (she Ella's mom) is a professionally photographer, so I'm going to ask her to photograph them for me.
I love your creation! You are a multi-talented woman! Rachel Posted: 11:32 pm on August 27th
csudderth writes: Hey Georgia--this is really pretty. Did you decopage napkins on the canvas? Is it a collage of napkins. Obviously, I have no artistic ability at all but I really like this. Can't wait to see your next one. Posted: 9:56 pm on August 27th
georgiamoon writes: Thanks guys. You know how hard it is to judge your own art?...well I have a hard time with it. I like this one a lot though. I find it easier to show off something I made from something else than a piece I created from scratch. I already have some ideas for my next one. It keeps me out of trouble...yeah right!!! Anyway, thanks again, Geo Posted: 4:55 pm on August 27th

Very pretty! What an awesome idea for an old, crusty frame. Keep'em coming.

That collage is SO pretty! You have an amazing, creative way of making such lovely & unique things! I really like the softer colors and the small florals mixed with larger graphic pics & words. Great job!!
