When I saw these old pastel shoe stretchers I immediately thought Mushrooms!
Get yer handy-dandy bolt cutter and cut the little wooden ball end off.  Youll have to really sqeeze hard and wiggle the metal till it snaps apart.
Paint on some little mushroomy dots with a paint pen.  Spray with outdoor sealant if desired.
Place in the garden and enjoy!
