Beater Tulips!!
March 7th, 2009 in member junkJH and I worked on those beater tulips today and guess what? Think we figured out a no-weld version.
The 'stems' are a bunch of poles I had left over from one of those cheap picnic canopies that ripped apart last summer. Hot glued the beater into the pole. Bent the spoons. JH then took wire and wrapped around the spoon handles to adhere them to the pole. Hot glued the little bead on and wala....instant tulip!! I think not bad for our first try???
also, you're probably thinking that is grass in the bucket? Nope...newspaper and a lime green feather boa my niece gave me from her garage sale....looks like grass, doesn't it?
Thanks for sharing your great idea!
