I had this antique picture frame that was in kinda rough shape and couldn't figure out what to do with it, but I ended up taking some foam board, ribbons and buttons to make this message board for our dinette. I used leftover curtain fabric so it matches the room. I also took buttons and hot glued them to the tops of thumb tacks to make tacks for larger items as shown in the photo.
