I found this old gold wooden frame at the auction quite a while back. It originally had a mirror in it but it was broken beyond repair so I just took it out. Then recently I found the little architectural shelf at the auction. It was gold already, so I just spray-painted it white and then sanded it so some of the gold came through. I hung them on the wall together and then put the little candle cup on the shelf w/ a votive inside it. The candle cup was bought for 33 cents a couple years ago at a dollar store.

this little display is in my 'creativity studio' which is basically just a chair and a table with lots of junk all over the place. I thought it might inspire me in the future.
