Here's an overall shot of my lawnmower blade lamp. I decided it would look good up against my blue wall shining up onto the metal "GATHER".
It is sitting on an old hospital gurney, but that's for another post...
Regarding the "gather" sign... it is new and was purchased via the Sundance catalog by Santa for my Christmas present this past holiday.
Here's as little bit tighter shot. The vase on the right is an old copper float with dried twigs.
...and here's a shot up close.

I've decided to re-junkify my office at work and will be posting a series of photos so you can join me along the way.
Here's my first real "junking" piece - a push lawnmower lamp I made with my father over 10 years ago. I decided it would look good up against my blue wall shining up on the metal "GATHER".

I LOVE your lamp! I've always wanted one of the old mowers
but didn't know what I would do with it. This would be perfect to have in my '50's style basement. Then I would
watch to come up with an idea for the handle.
Thanks for an awesome idea! Posted: 2:58 pm on December 30th

Maybe the parts and pieces wouldn't cost so much. And making a lamp wouldn't be so labor intensive as mowing. I like the gurney too. Posted: 8:00 pm on February 12th
