Waterski seating projects

I used a rubber backed rug to cover the seat.  No problem sitting on it with wet bathing suits. 
This bench was a little simpler.  I connected the two waterskis together and added 2 camp stools.  Its surprisingly sturdy.

Obviously, this is not one of my current projects (note the beautiful background).  It does feel pretty nice around here the last couple of days, but not THAT nice.  This was one of my earlier projects and it sold pretty fast.  I used to foget to photograph my projects, but this one I remembered just as it was being loaded in their car.  They waited for me to get my camera and I'm glad they did.  I think it turned out pretty cool.  Hopefully I can make another one this spring. 

The hall tree was made from 3 vintage waterskis with a little bench or table for the seat.  I added the ski's metal fin as a little shelf and a hook to hang things.
