Old Doors
February 10th, 2009 in member junkI bought these old doors at the salvage yard for $5 each. My husband cut three down and put them together for the headboard. The other three we used hinges to put them together and added the dollar store mirrors.

I love all the ideas I'm finding on the site...
So many talented artist that are willing to compliment and help others...everyone is so inspiring!
rosejunker2009...a friend of mine made the cutest barstools with saddles..she just found some old stools and removed the original seat and replaced it with the saddle, really cute in her gameroom! I'm not sure about an English saddle...don't they sit to the side? Posted: 3:29 pm on February 11th
Great look, love those doors.
I have an old English saddle, anybody has any ideas what to do with it. Its bulky and huge.

The 3 way mirror is a really great project as well, and must be a wonderful addition to the bedroom for getting ready in the mornings.
The chandelier and wall color with white is a great combination. Thanks for sharing your romantic little hideaway with us all. It's great!

Love how you made different heights of the doors to make your headboard. The best door headboard I've seen, I have no headboard right now, so will have to keep this style in mind.
Thanks for sharing.
