"If I try to be like her, who will be like me?"

I didn’t want the girl to have a face – I wanted the proverb to be what was seen (and read) first.
The original proverb acually reads ...him, but I thought it would be ok to make a minor edit.
It is crafted from the back of an old camera, a wooden doll form, a metal gear and the frame off an old gauge.
I also thought the camera back was appropriate as the carriage to help carry the message.

Girls Inc. is one of my favorite charities and I created this piece with their motto in mind:

Inspiring All Girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.
