my family lit up

My most favorite thing in the world is my family.  My 2nd?  Taking pictures of them and displaying!  I try to come up with creative ways to display my precious people.

Here is my Family Tree.  I stuffed a tall glass cylinder with twigs and brown corded seed lights, printed my photos in sepia tone, trimmed the photos with pinking shears, then clipped them to the twigs with mini binder clips, and wrapped the cylinder with ribbon.

Simple, simple, simple....... I change the photos out often, and use different ribbon as my mood and motif change.

SeaGlassLady writes: Fantastic! I love your use of nature's trash (the twigs) to make such an elegant and meaningful work of art. Your addition of the lights is a brilliant touch! I have put twigs to a different use, and will post my project soon. Posted: 9:55 am on February 11th

Junk_Sophisticate writes: I just absolutely love this! The sepia tones with the pinking sheared edges age the display perfectly, yet the mini black clips add a nice update.

Brilliant work junk friend!

MelHow writes: Very pretty - I particularly like how you used the pinking shearers to edge the photos - like those old-time photos. Posted: 7:07 pm on February 10th
